UPDATE NOVEMBER 2020: Please wear your face mask WHILE IN THE CHURCH BUILDING. If you did not bring yours, please see one of the ushers.

The elders are excited to announce that Lebanon Road church of Christ will assemble for worship at 9:00 AM this Sunday, June 14th. We are confident you share our joy in this decision.

At this time, we will only meet on Sunday morning for worship. We will not have bible classes and we will not meet on Sunday evening or Wednesday evening. We will continue having our Sunday and Wednesday evening Zoom Bible classes. Up until now our goal has been to return to public worship as soon as possible. We will now begin looking at how to safely resume Bible classes and our other normal congregational activities. Please be patient with us because this will take time.

Guidelines for assembling:

1Anyone with vulnerabilities to COVID-19 is strongly discouraged from joining the assemblies at this time. We love you and until more is known about how best to keep you safe, we encourage you to stay at home until further notice. In the meantime, we will continue to live stream our worship services on Facebook and Zoom. You can access the live stream at http://lrcoc.org/live. You can also access the live stream via our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/lrcoc2307.  If you do not have internet access or are not comfortable with accessing the live stream, you can call in to the following conference number on your phone and listen to the service. The number to dial is 312-626-6799 and put in Meeting ID: 242 340 3262. Please reach out to members who do not have internet and tell them about this option.

Everyone, whether you are especially vulnerable or not, is encouraged to use your own best judgement about when you feel it is safe for you and your family to return. Please know that you will not be judged to be weak or unfaithful for not attending.

Anyone that is sick or not feeling well, regardless of the symptoms, is asked not to assemble at this time.

Please, only use the front door to enter the building. All other doors will be locked. Even if you have a key, please enter through the front door.

We ask that when you enter the building, go directly to your seat. Do not gather in the foyer. We realize it has been months since we have been together, but we ask that you resist the urge to hug or shake hands at this time.

Access to downstairs will be completely off limits during service. The cry room will be available if you need a nursery. Class will be dismissed by grades at appropriate time.

Please come prepared to avoid using the restrooms if possible. Parents…we understand. Do what you must do regarding restroom usage with your children.

The water fountains will not be usable. We suggest that you bring a water bottle if needed.

Families or groups already in close contact, please sit together. Children will need to remain with parents at all times. We will have every other pew taped off and that should allow plenty of seats while maintaining the 6-foot social distance.

Communion will be available for pick up as you enter the building. Please take it to your seat for use at the proper time. After using, place it in the cup holder on the pew in front of you. They will be picked up later. In regard to giving, please use the online tool at lrcoc.org/give or mail a check to the church, P.O. Box 140410 Nashville, TN 37214.

There will be a box available in the foyer for your contribution. Please place it in the box when either entering or exiting the building.

Dismissal will be done to prevent congestion. At this time, we must ask that you proceed directly to the parking lot. Feel free to greet and talk to one another after you have exited the building, while still abiding by the health guidelines. If you are staying for class, please be seated when instructed.

Brethren, we are so excited to resume our public worship together. Please do not be discouraged by the awkwardness of these temporary changes and guidelines. We hope you will agree it is a small price to pay for the privilege of assembling to worship our God. Please reach out privately to one of the elders know if you have any questions or concerns.
