BIBLE CLASS RETURN PLAN

RETURNING TO BIBLE CLASSES | SUNDAY AM ONLY | SEPT 13, 2020

As was announced, we will begin regular bible classes for all ages immediately after worship. The elders would like to again thank the ministers, the department leaders, and the class teachers for all of their hard work is bringing this plan together. Our plan is to step into this by combining some classes and taking precautions such as extra cleaning and sanitation, masks for some students and teachers, and VBS style dismissal for classes. The Ladies Bible Class will also begin meeting again on Tuesdays in the Fellowship Hall.

Here are the procedures we've laid out as to how we will end worship service and dismiss to class:
⁃ Michael will come up to Lord’s Supper table as soon as last prayer finishes to dismiss each class. All adults will need to stay seated until all of the children are dismissed. Teachers will leave with their students to go to class.
⁃ Doors will be labeled A-E with large stickers.
⁃ Parents of students in Nursery and 1’s and 2’s class will need to exit through Door A and proceed to the nursery for drop off.
⁃ K-4th grade will be dismissed next and exit through door B.
⁃ 3-4’s and Andrew’s class will be dismissed third and exit through door C.
⁃ 7-8th grade will then be dismissed fourth through door D.
⁃ Finally 5-6th with be dismissed last to exit through door E.
- Once all students are dismissed, we will have a short break for the adults and reconvene for our bible class in the auditorium led by JD.

After the second bell, nursery-6th grade children will be brought back up to their parents in the auditorium. 7-12th grade students will exit through the door by the fellowship hall and meet their parents outside under the portico at the front of auditorium.

We're asking all teachers nursery-12th grade to wear a mask in Bible class. Preschool students are not required to wear masks, but we're asking all students in grades K-12th grade to please wear a mask in class due to the fact that we cannot spread out enough. All classroom spaces will be sanitized and unused until the following Sunday. The ministers, with the help of Shane Williams, have put together a video walking you through this plan as well, as shown above.

We know this is not our normal routine, however, we believe it is a safe next step to getting back to the study of God's word in a Bible class setting. We know that many families are ready to be back in bible class and some are not. Wherever you are, please know that we fully support your decision. We will live stream the adult class in the auditorium for those that wish to participate from home.

Please let one of the elders know if you have any questions or concerns.
